Frequently Asked Questions
Workshops & Local Events
Do you run Christmas wreath workshops? Yes! Throughout November and December, we host hands-on seasonal Christmas Wreath Workshops across the local area, including venues in Sonning Common, Dunsden (near Henley-on-Thames) and Caversham, Reading. Using our home-grown, naturally dried foliage, berries, and dried flowers, you'll learn how to craft your own long-lasting festive door wreath.
How can I book a workshop place? Spaces for our winter workshops are strictly limited to keep sessions intimate. You can view upcoming dates and secure your spot directly through our website Shop or the announcement bar.
Can I book a private or group workshop? If you are interested in private festive group bookings or corporate winter workshops around Berkshire and South Oxfordshire, please get in touch via our Get in Touch Page to discuss availability.
About Our Dried Flowers
What does Little Leaf Floral specialize in? Little Leaf Floral creates handcrafted dried flower arrangements designed to last. Each piece is thoughtfully made using sustainably sourced blooms that have been naturally dried and preserved. Our collections include bouquets, wreaths, home décor pieces, and bespoke gifts — all made with love in the UK.
What makes dried flowers different from fresh flowers? Dried flowers offer long-lasting beauty without the need for water or maintenance. They retain their natural colour and texture for months — even years — making them a sustainable alternative to fresh bouquets.
Are your dried flowers real? Yes! All our dried flowers are 100% real and carefully dried using natural methods to preserve their form and colour. We never use dyes, sprays, plastic, or artificial flowers.
Are your dried flowers dyed or bleached? Never. All our flowers are 100% real, sustainably grown, and naturally air-dried with zero chemical dyes, artificial sprays, or bleaches. What you see are the authentic, rich colors of nature grown right here in the UK.
Are dried flowers too delicate or fragile to handle? While they do appreciate a gentle touch, naturally air-dried flowers are much more durable than most people assume! Because they lack the fragile moisture content of fresh stems, they don't wilt or drop petals easily under normal conditions. Just handle your arrangement with care when unboxing or styling, and it will stay robust and beautiful for months—and even years—to come.
Weddings, Events & Gifts
Do you make dried wedding bouquets and buttonholes? Yes — our dried wedding flowers are a popular choice for brides looking for timeless, natural beauty. They can be prepared well in advance and kept as a keepsake after your big day.
What is the difference between your bouquet size tiers? We offer three distinct, transparently priced tiers for our The Bespoke Dried Wedding Bouquet—Intimate (£80) for lighter, delicate styling; Classic (£100) as our signature full-sized bridal piece; and Statement (£120) for a lush, bountiful, oversized look.
Are dried wedding bouquets heavy to hold? Not at all! One of the best hidden benefits of dried florals is that they are significantly lighter than traditional fresh bouquets (and require no water tubes). This makes them wonderfully comfortable to carry all day—meaning you can easily hold your bouquet in one hand while holding a glass of fizz or hugging guests!
How far in advance can my dried wedding bouquet be delivered? Because our flowers are naturally air-dried right here in Berkshire, your bouquet can be delivered weeks or even months ahead of your big day. Every order is shipped securely in custom eco-packaging so you can tick it off your checklist early, store it safely, and eliminate any last-minute delivery stress.
How should I store my dried wedding bouquet once it arrives early? Once your custom eco-packaging arrives, unbox your bouquet gently, remove any internal tissue padding, and store it upright in a vase or securely in its box in a cool, dry room. Just be sure to keep it away from direct sunlight, high humidity (like kitchens or damp utility rooms), and direct heat sources to keep the colors vibrant until the big day.
Can you preserve my fresh flower wedding bouquet and buttonholes? We love helping our customers preserve the magic and memories of their special day and offer a fresh-to-dried flower preservation service, including 3D keepsake picture frame boxes.
Can you decorate venues or events with dried flowers? We do! Dried flower installations, table arrangements, and wall décor add rustic elegance to any event. We offer both ready-made and bespoke designs to match your theme.
Can you preserve fresh funeral flowers? We also specialise in the preservation of fresh funeral flowers. Ask us about this service to create a meaningful floral memory that lasts for many years.
Can I send dried flowers as a gift? Definitely. You can choose from a range of designs for birthdays, anniversaries, housewarmings, thank-you gifts, and more.
Sustainability & Sourcing
Are your flowers sustainably sourced? Absolutely. I grow all my dried flowers myself here in Berkshire. This minimizes waste and lowers the carbon footprint required to reach you.
How long do dried flowers last? With a little care, your dried flowers can last many years. Keep them away from direct sunlight, humidity, and water for the best results.
Do dried flowers need any maintenance? Very little! Simply dust them gently every so often with a soft brush or a hairdryer on a cool, low setting. Avoid water and damp areas to keep them looking beautiful.
Orders & Delivery
Can I order dried flowers online? Yes — you can order directly from our Shop. Browse the collection or get in touch for bespoke creations if you have something specific in mind. Each arrangement is carefully packaged for delivery across the UK.
How are the flowers packaged for delivery? All arrangements are plastic-free using paper and cardboard boxes to ensure safe delivery.
Do you ship nationwide? Yes, we deliver across the UK. Each order is dispatched from our studio and packaged to withstand transit, so your flowers arrive in perfect condition. You can read more on our Delivery & Returns page.
What is your policy on cancellations or returns for custom items? Because our wedding bouquets and bespoke arrangements are handcrafted to order, personalized items cannot be returned. However, if you need to reschedule your wedding date or adjust your order details, we are always happy to work with you if given reasonable notice prior to creation.
Custom & Wholesale
Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders? Yes, we welcome wholesale and corporate orders for shops, stylists, and event planners. We can create consistent branded designs or seasonal collections.
